Know-how
Sponsorship activations
A sponsorship activation works when it fits the venue, the audience and what the sponsor wants to say. We develop and build activations that connect the brand with the event.
Sponsorship activations with real brand presence
A sponsorship activation works when it fits the venue, the audience and what the sponsor wants to say. We develop the concept ourselves or build the activation on your briefing. Either way it shows the brand or the company clearly and keeps a real link to the event, whether that is a festival, a sports event, a town fair or a concert.
We look closely at who is actually there: families, music fans, Gen Z or sports crowds. Depending on whether the activation stands indoors or outdoors, we plan for weather resistance, structural load or modular set-up. Material and equipment you already own we reuse where it makes sense.

In our own workshop we build event furniture and custom elements: welcome counters, pallet lounges, personalised buzzer pillars, a giant bottle made of steel scaffolding. We work with a wide range of materials, build new pieces or adapt existing ones.
On request we also handle logistics, set-up and dismantling, and store stands and event material properly between jobs in our warehouse in the canton of Aargau.
Questions? Already have an idea or a briefing? Tell us what you have in mind and we will talk through feasibility, options and concepts.

What clients say
Our journey starts each time with a joint brainstorming. The ideas we pick are then worked out excellently by made Marketing, as they are every year. Our collaboration is built on mutual trust, we have a very open exchange with made, and the ideas always land with the best possible result.

— Ueli Stutz, Live Marketing & Sponsoring Manager, Zweifel Pomy-Chips AG

FAQ
How do I turn a sponsorship into an experience?
With an activation that fits the event, the audience and your message, and that gets people to join in. At the Openair Frauenfeld, festival-goers in the Jägermeister lift picked a music style at the press of a button, and at SailGP in Geneva they pedalled for HSBC to get a boat to the buoy. We develop the concept ourselves or build on your briefing.
How much does a sponsorship activation at a festival cost?
A festival activation with a built installation, logistics, set-up and take-down starts at around 30'000 francs. The price depends mainly on the space, the builds, technology, the number of events and staffing. We are happy to work to a cost ceiling you set, and we reuse material you already have.
When should I start planning a sponsorship activation?
As early as possible; for a festival summer ideally 4 to 6 months ahead. That leaves time to plan the concept, build, permits and logistics without a rush. If we come in later, we can also deliver single modules such as an experience container or a game.
At which events do you run sponsorship activations?
At festivals, sports events, town festivals and concerts across Switzerland, for example the Openair Frauenfeld, Energy Air, the Street Parade, Züri Fäscht, the ESAF in Mollis and SailGP in Geneva. For Zweifel we also worked in the snow at the Migros Ski Day races, where the whole set-up fitted on two pallets and went up to the sponsor village by cable car.
Do you work with the organiser and my lead agency?
Yes, often. Many activations are created together with agencies such as jim & jim, and we then take on the build, technology, game and logistics. With organisers and cities we coordinate the site, permits, set-up and take-down, at Züri Fäscht for example with the organising committee and the City of Zürich.
What happens to the material after the event?
We store stands and event material in our warehouse in Stetten (AG) and bring it back for the next deployment. That way elements stay in use over several seasons; the Chips Heaven ramp became the core of Zweifel's festival activations for three years. We often build lounges from upcycled pallets.
