At first glance, the Sprite bus stop looks ordinary. Up close, visitors discover that no bus stops here. Instead, it offers a refreshing surprise on hot summer days. Developed for festivals and city centres, this hidden activation gives passers-by and festival visitors a cooling mist at the press of a button. The gentle refreshment was well received and paired with sampling of the new Sprite Zero variety.
The project was developed in collaboration with jim & jim.

A focal point on a concrete base

Creating an authentic-looking bus stop presented our construction team with several challenges. After prototypes and tests, the decision was clear:
A real concrete base would make the experience as convincing as possible. We built the rest of the structure in our Busslingen workshop, drawing on our visualisation and measurement expertise. A key feature was the nozzle system. A button integrated into the illuminated advertising poster triggered a gentle spray from the front of the roof.
Giant ice cubes and an oversized Sprite Zero can on the roof caught the eye. The bus stop was used in Swiss city centres and at festivals.
