Gamification may be a buzzword, but play and competition are well-established forms of entertainment. Young people who know basketball player LeBron James naturally think of shooting hoops. His role as a Sprite ambassador provides the link to Sprite’s activation at festivals in summer 2019.

Up to four opponents can compete in the Sprite Basketball Challenge. A button starts the countdown, and the aim is to shoot and score as often as possible. The winner gets a prize; the others can try a Sprite. Laughter, sweat, catching a breath, pats on the back and photos: this physical challenge, with its analogue feel, was well received by festival visitors.

The shipping container converted by made has a wood-look interior inspired by a gym. Together with the controls, LED panels and sensors, it was developed and built in Switzerland at our storage site in Busslingen.
