FAQ
Answers to the questions clients ask us most often, from budgets and process to gamification and our experience containers.
What does live marketing mean?
Live marketing means making brands tangible through real experiences. Unlike classic advertising, which is mostly consumed passively, live marketing is built on interaction and face-to-face encounters. Whether it is an event, a roadshow, a pop-up container or gamification, the experience is what counts. The aim is to stir emotions, convey brand values credibly and build lasting customer relationships. made Marketing has been developing live-marketing concepts in Switzerland since 2010 that people remember.
Why does live marketing matter so much for brands today?
At a time when people are flooded with digital advertising every day, live marketing earns real attention. Direct experiences stay in the memory longer than an online banner or a TV spot. Studies show that personal interaction builds a stronger bond with a brand. For a company that means live marketing raises brand awareness, increases loyalty and makes the brand distinctive. made Marketing shows how Swiss brands gain a decisive edge through creative events, roadshows or experience containers.
What services does made Marketing actually offer?
made Marketing offers a broad range of live-marketing services. These include developing creative concepts, planning and running roadshows, designing and building experience containers, POS activations and gamification solutions. We accompany clients from the first idea through design to production and logistics. Our aim is to turn brand messages into experiences people remember, tailored to each client and with a lot of attention to detail. Many Swiss companies already rely on our expertise.
What we do not offer are classic events such as general meetings, anniversary celebrations or invitation management. And we do not have our own pool of promoters, though we do know where to find good ones.
What is the difference between live marketing and classic advertising?
Classic advertising, whether print, TV or online, is a form of one-way communication. Live marketing works through direct interaction instead. People can try products out, step into brand worlds and take part. That creates a deeper emotional connection. Where classic advertising generates reach, live marketing creates real experiences that keep working afterwards. made Marketing combines both where it makes sense, and develops concepts that make brands not just visible but experienceable.
Which industries benefit most from live marketing?
Live marketing is relevant for many industries. The clearest benefit goes to brands that want to carry emotion and create closeness, for example consumer goods, food and beverage, banks, insurers, telecoms, automotive, retail and lifestyle. Whether it is a wow moment at the POS, a festival activation, a trade-fair presence or a mall roadshow, made Marketing develops tailored solutions for every industry and almost every budget. The goal stays the same, namely to win people over on site, to gain customers, to make brand values tangible, to carry a message across and to get into conversation. Live marketing is a fine opportunity to meet your target group in person.
What does a live-marketing activation cost?
The cost depends heavily on the scope and the idea. A small POS presence with the digital Glücksrad starts at 2'000 francs. A nationwide roadshow with several experience containers starts at 80'000 francs. Concept development, design, production, logistics and branding all feed into the budget. As a rule, live marketing is an investment in a long-term bond with the brand. made Marketing writes transparent quotes and adapts concepts to needs and budgets, from smaller activations to large festival experiences. We are happy to work to a cost ceiling set by the client.
What examples of successful projects does made Marketing have?
made Marketing has delivered many successful live-marketing campaigns since 2010. They include roadshows for Swisslos and Blick, brand presences for Oatly, gamification projects for Mobiliar and CoffeeB, festival activations for Coke and Zweifel and public-viewing containers for Heineken. Our cases show how widely live marketing can be used, from retail POS to large-scale events and corporate occasions. You will find a selection under Projects.
How does gamification work in marketing?
Gamification means building playful elements into marketing. That can be a digital Glücksrad, a quiz, a type generator or a challenge. The aim is to encourage interaction and stir emotions. People love games. They stay longer, engage more closely with the brand and share the experience. made Marketing develops its gamification tools from scratch in-house and adapts them to each client. The result is activations that are fun and deliver measurable results at the same time.
Why does made Marketing work with containers and modular solutions?
Containers offer flexibility, reuse and a strong presence. They are quick to transport, modular to assemble and can be branded individually. For a brand that means a recognisable presence in different places, whether on a roadshow, at a festival or at the POS. made Marketing specialises in creative container concepts that create experience worlds and stay practical to deliver. Containers are sustainable and stand up to the weather.
When should I get in touch with made Marketing?
As early as possible, ideally while the idea is still taking shape or the planning is starting. That way we can develop the concept together, plan budgets and logistics realistically from the outset and find the right solutions in good time. But if you already have a concrete idea, we can join at any point and take on the concept, the delivery or single modules such as experience containers or gamification tools. Our experience says that the earlier made Marketing is involved, the smoother and more efficient a project turns out.
How does working with made Marketing go?
We work in a structured and transparent way. After a first conversation we develop a concept for you, which we refine closely with you. Then come design, production, delivery and evaluation, all from one team. Along the way we rely on open communication, agile processes and plenty of creativity. Whether it is a small activation or a large roadshow, our aim is to keep your back free and make your brand something people can experience.
