Zweifel's distinctive orange is visible from across the festival grounds. Up close, «Snack Attack» brings a smile to many visitors' faces. The rules are immediately clear: Team Snack and Team Chips try to land their balls in oversized mouths. Soft balls are launched with a giant slingshot, following the principle of Angry Birds. The game is entirely analogue, with up to four people playing each round. For Zweifel Chips, strengthening brand awareness was central. Bags of chips and snacks from the range are prominently displayed, with a clear message: «We are the snack experts.»

## **Joint development, prototypes and test runs**

We developed Snack Attack with jim & jim and Zweifel Chips' marketing team. Several brainstorming sessions and close collaboration produced three concept routes from the brief. Snack Attack won the decision-makers over, particularly on brand fit, fun and visibility. Another requirement was that Zweifel's event team could set up and take down the activation independently.

The 5-metre wall underwent wind-load tests. Choosing the balls and flooring to address injury and slipping risks, and custom-building the slingshot and giant snack bags, were also important parts of development. The wall needed to work as an illuminated sign even when no game was running. made's creative and construction teams therefore added indirect LED lighting to the mouths and other elements.

Visitor flow was another central consideration: where would people queue, store their valuables and wait without being hit by balls? We built the walls, elements and interiors of the two containers in our Busslingen workshop, where we also carried out the first test assemblies and refinements.

Snack Attack premiered at Greenfield Festival in Interlaken.
