To launch three new organic capsule varieties from South America, Nescafé Dolce Gusto went on a promotional tour of shopping centres in German-speaking Switzerland. Alongside coffee tasting and demonstrations of the latest capsule machines, the aim was to attract visitors to the stand through play.

We developed a custom capsule game whose introduction explained the qualities of the different coffee beans in a light, accessible way. Players moved a real cup from side to side to catch their selected capsule variety on screen. Capsules rained down from the top of the monitor at increasingly short intervals. Catching the wrong flavour or moving too slowly cost points. The aim was to score as many points as possible in 30 seconds.
